Without a doubt... the watch. Besides, can’t really be that fun driving around the D.C. area anyway. I always crack up at all the Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s in my neighborhood going 20mph because of traffic. Either way, seems like a win win

You have a nice watch collection. I would go for the car. Love watches but nothing floats my boat like driving a fun car. My buddy has a bunch of nice cars and some exotics. His daily is the Alfa. Raves about it and he has tracked and owned some of the nicest cars for years.

I'm not a car guy and am in my late 50's but married and been driving family cars. I just totalled my 2005 Nissan Pulsar, so I would go the Rolex. Cars are hugely expensive in Australia and fuel prices exorbitant. If I want to waste my money it will be on booze. A Rolex is never a waste of money.

Before anyone asks I had just left a business meeting at 2.00 in the afternoon, so wasn't drinking. I never drink and drive and its the first serious accident in 37 Years of driving.

Cars are not my thing. That said I nearly bought a Saab Turbo for my 40th. The same car John Gardner had Bond drive in hus 80's novels. I hadtmy heart set on it till I rang the Insurance Company.

I look at watches on this forum most evenings but just had to scratch the itch with an Aston Martin Vantage that I am picking up later this week. I am the first to admit the watch is a better investment but life is short.

Not even a question. Single = car!! Can you go places in a watch? Can you take a date out in a watch? Can you have sexual relations in a watch? Come on man - think of your little guy!!

Yes - getting some for having a nice car is not the dating woman type, but you actually may get some. Harder to steal when you pass out and wake up robbed. Watch out (pun intended) there are woman who do this. Before going on the first meet up tell her it should be Dutch so there is no pressure. See what she says! Meet her for a walk downtown around crowds. She drives her own car and either of you can leave whenever you want. If all goes well after that take her on a date in a beater!! If you get a third date bring out the nice toys. She won't know what hit her and deal closed. MTGOW (look it up)

FYI - Dating today is way different now. Woman will use you for whatever they want and have zero regrets blowing you off. Do not get depressed or give up and eventually you will find a keeper.

That’s the cliche about boats, not Alfas.

Yeah, sleepers are cool. But, nothing beats an open top car. All the modern sleepers are off my list because they are automatic only. What’s the point of a performance car if it’s not going to have a manual transmission? Sure, on a track car you can excuse the fancy automatics for their fast shifts, but in the real world, I’ll take a manual every time. Big sleeper sedans are kind of dead to me—4,000+ pounds and an automatic means they’re just fast, but not really fun to drive.

If you haven't driven a Quadrifoglio, you owe it to yourself. Afterwards the decision will be easy.

I agree with some of the other posters. Lease the car and buy the watch.
