Good point by Sam!

Only flip out of your positive equity towards pieces you always wanted but thought were a stretch.

Don’t use that to get into a random piece, especially precious metal, if it wasn’t the grail.

I would definitely do it if you get the right price on the 5711 a. I’m a bit biased though because the 5711a does nothing for me while I’m a bit of a sucker for rose gold!

Are you only contemplating it’s due the market strength of the SS? I which case I would stick with what you have got, there’s a reason your purchased it in the first place.
6 weeks ago it had crossed Mike's mind on my pic thread, so in TRF time that is like 6 months so I'd say he has wanted the RG for an eternity!

LOL, true. It’s tempting to get a gold nautilus for almost the same cost as my steel 5711. But not 100% sure I’m a gold kind of guy. So I’ll wait for now, drooling over your pics.

My thoughts : i would keep it: the Nautilus 5711 is a must have and an essential Patek

I received mine yesterday which joins my chrono 5980 , and she really is a beauty .

In my mind, as far as I am concerned, a Nautilus is made of steel with blue dial and nothing else.

My two cents .

Of course, if the rose gold Nautilus seems more attractive to you don't hesitate and go for it .

I would, although with 50k I’d rather get a an annual calendar Chrono in Steel, and pocket $10k

I DO love the 1R — every time I see a pic of yours it just makes me question my watch acquisition strategy...LOL

I always wanted a full gold watch and the opportunity presented itself. I was done, it is such a beautiful watch. Thank you my friend.
