I used to own a 5205G-001 back in 2011 and sold it two years later. My reasons are subjective which I only learned when I started wearing the watch:

1. Too much height on the watch

2. Design of the dial is more modern compared to the traditional PP dial found in 5196, 5396, or even 5140. I prefer the latter dial.

3. Concave bezel needs a bit of getting used to although it is less prone to scratches.

My suggestion is to try wearing the watch before buying it.

Kind of. It has that "wrap around the wrist" effect. Never have any comfort issues with my 5205R.
