Submariner Value

I am looking to sell my Submariner and have been offered, what I think, is a fair amount. I wanted to ask this forum what their opinion of the value of my watch is. The watch is question is a Submariner I bought new from an authorized dealer in 2005. I have worn the watch but not damaged it in any way. No scratched on the bezel or the crystal. The band is in superb condition. BTW I am new to the forum, just found it as a matter of fact so I would also like to say hello!

Thanks for looking and any comments would be appreciated.

here is a picture of the watch:

Nice looking watch and welcome to the TRF. Not really sure about the cost but would think it's in the 3,500 to 4,500. Mine is an 84 16800mdl and I would like to think it's worth at least 3,500. There are some good qualified people whom can tell you alot more about it than me.

A D is around 4K and yours if probably an F so around the same maybe a bit less. the stretch on the bracelet is important factor in determining the value.
show a side view of your watch held by your fingers and allow the bracelet to sit horizontally.

I don't really understand how you want me to hold the watch to show the band in a horizontal position...could you please explain? or show me an example...

It is an F serial and a 16610
Thanks
