Weird question...Rolex hulk w/ darker skin color?

I’ve been wanting to see a Rolex 116610LV in person, but unfortunately have been unable to find one to handle. I’m strongly considering buying one but the thing that worries me is that I’m a darker skin tone (Indian) and I’m not sure if the green will look good on me. I don’t want to spend the money and end up hating it. I’m not really sure what I’m looking for, but if anyone with a darker complexion offer their input or provide me with a few pics, it’d be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don’t give it a second thought. The sunburst green dial definitely favors darker skin tones. It will look great.

You’re fortunate in that dark skin tones favor all tones. Go for it!

You've never worn a green jacket, shirt or sweater?
The only colour prejudice tolerated here, is
mostly directed at the Cerachrom Pepsi bezel! Haha
Go for it!

If I have learned one thing since I have joined the forum, it is that if you wait long enough you can get tons of opinions on both sides of a question. I have learned that if I want a particular watch, then get it and enjoy it. Wear it for you and no one else.

I'm not one who cares about skin colour, I have RG skin and happily wear RG watches.

Just paint it with a similar Color on your wrist to have a feel.

Go for it! It’s a stunner.

I actually think the green looks great on darker skin tones. I'm not Indian but have darker than average skin. Here's a pic below of me trying one on as a data point.

Weird question...Rolex hulk w/ darker skin color?

In general, I would never buy a watch without first trying it on in person. Preferably multiple times.

I used to love the vintage 36 DJs until I tried a few on, then disliked them on me. Just didn’t work for me. Conversely, I never cared much for Daytona’s until I saw one on my wrist and realized it’s the perfect size for me.

It looks even better on your skin!

My Indian friend rocks a Hulk everyday and it looks better on him than it does on me.

Thank you all for the reassurance!! I’m going back and forth a bit between the LN and LV, but knowing the LV will look fine on me gives me more info towards the decision. Kinda makes it a bit harder now haha
