Cool photo! Did you use a cross screen filter (or star filter), or is this something you did in Photoshop?

I find Rolex rose gold a bit too pink for my liking, it’s most noticeable for me in the oyster style braclets, however, the president in rose is unrivaled. I find AP rose more attractive in general.

I like the look of Rolex Everose gold which goes better with my skin tone than YG. I believe they add a couple percent platinum to stabilize the color from the copper alloy. I think Rolex has had their own foundry and research since the early 2000's so perhaps pink/red gold produced by them has better color stability (?) than prior third party suppliers. Regardless, I do like the look. Cheers!

I love all gold. I have a Everose 116515 and LOVE it. Also have a yellow gold GMTII on super jubilee.... Love it too.

Both are beautiful and my favorite watches.

This

It works perfectly for my wife as a Rolesor configuration and that's all that matters to me.

I actually traded in my yellow gold Day Date for a 40mm Rose gold chocolate motif dial. I just think it has a classier softer look than an all yellow gold watch. Just my humble opinion of course, but I have not regretted the decision one bit.

That's because it's all there ever was as it occurred in nature.
It's status will never be equalled.

As RG is an alloy of different metals with primarily Copper that's become a proprietary mix and unique in colour, It's obvious that there's always going to be a limited market for trading. Thus a reduced secondary market/value.

A little off topic.
The really interesting one is Platinum, which used to be regarded a fractional waste by-product of Gold Mining.

I believe Everose is 75% gold. What % gold is 18K yellow gold or white gold. I think probably also 75%, each has different additives. Only 24k is 100% gold.

I think I have an explanation for that. Omega uses Palladium which is a whiter metal than Platinum but has a stronger bleaching action. By using palladium, the metal alloy interacts with copper resulting in a much redder and more rose tinted colour than say Everose or normal rose gold

Apparently Everose has a slightly higher content of gold at least 76% (vs Sedna's 75%)
https://www.precisionwatches.com/rolex-everose-gold/
How do I know Sedna has 75% gold or 18K alloyed gold?
I guess it's written in broad daylight on the Sedna plaque affixed to the casing of the SMP 300M Ti-Tan-18K-SG

Would love to see some pics of that combo as it’s a favorite of mine. I have never had RG on my wrist so I cannot say for sure which metal I prefer. As my collection grows I can see adding RG into the mix.

I think the Rolex website says palladium is in the everose alloy. I may have misstated platiinum is included because I’ve read it here in the forum! All I really know is that I like it, though I do like Patek rose gold even more.
