911 4S. They are all sexy. That's the tough part.

I registered! I'm sure there will be a ton of info. Thank you!

Yep, created an account!

That is great to hear! Signed up!!

Soooo,

The CPO 4S didn't work out, as the dealer wasn't moving from the set price, which was according to cargurus overpriced by $30k

So, i test drove the Audi S5 convertible and loved it, but also stopped by another Porsche dealer who was motivated to sell and took the time to find the exact 4S i was looking for. It's new and from out of state, but the out of state dealer agreed to do the trade with the local dealer, soooooo

signed today! 2018 911 4S, black, black, manual!!!

They will haul it next week and i get to pick it up!

I hope i'll be able to sleep.

THANK YOU ALL for your words of wisdom. This is a great forum and I hope to give back where i can.

I will post pics next week!

XOXOXOXOXO

t.
You're going to love it! Congrats!

I don't have much to contribute here, but i do own a 2017 A7 and love it. I totally hear you on opening the last year of the model though. That said, it's a fantastic car and the only risk of owning the last year is being envious of the new model. Otherwise, the A7 as is, is the best it's ever been. Sometimes, buying the first year of a new model is riskier.

Also, since you mentioned the a5. If you like the look of the A7, have you considered the new A5 sportback? It looks awesome to me, although I haven't seen one in person yet. I would definitely consider one, but I need the extra room in the A7.

I'm a little late to the talk here, but now that you're an owner, consider joining Rennlist for more advice than you could possibly want.
Also think of joining PCA - the membership dues are offset by Panorama, a very well done national magazine. Depending on how active your local chapter is, there can be some very fun things to do with like minded folks.
And don't forget detaiing, PPF, ceramic coatings, etc. There are countless ways to spend enough extra money on the car to make new tires every 10K miles look reasonable.

Congrats.

I usually go with a custom spec with very few options - that’s the secret to best value - these cars hold their value well compared with Audi’s, BMWs, etc.

Now you just need your Daytona - I just got mine recently !!
Gorgeous!!! Yeah, i think this was a right call :)

Are you going to get a clear bra? I would do it.... Research on custom clear bra for you car..should cost on average about $1600 for parts and installation for the complete front protection. It's very important you pick the right installer. Only go with recommendation and experience installers. You won't have to worry too much rock chip on your hood...

I always drool when I see a 911 on the road which require a second look...so sexy. I hear a lot of my friend's dream car is a 911. It's just an iconic car. You have made the right choice over an Audi (what?) and a BMW (really?).

Don't worry about a Daytona.... You're going to get a lot of attention on the street even if you don't want it. Too bad :)

Beautiful...
Big butt, yes :)

No clear bra. Nope.

Maybe a partial wrap, not even sure about that. We own a side business that does decals and wraps, so it's an option :)

Yes, gorgeous car and it drove like a hot knife thru butter.
I test drove the S5 convertible and it was an alternative. It has the new bodystyle and all kinds of gizmos and a massage seat

NO car yet :'(

I heard yesterday that the two dealerships exchanged vehicle purchase, next is transport.

The wait is killing me :)

Somewhere in Michigan, there's a little car who just got told that a lady adopted it, and it's all giddy!

"OMG OMG OMG OMG someone adopted ME!!!!
OMG i can't believe it. It's the best day of my life. We get to go faaaaaaaaast.

Well, i hope we do. I hope it's not some old lady who got me to get groceries.
OMG it's the best day of my life!!!!"

Yeeaaahhhhhh, see, i'm losing my mind here in anticipation... :D
