Rolex explorer 24270 mk1 luminova blue

you know when they started to put blue luminova in the rolex explorer 1 24270 mk1? in the first models I think it was green

Rolex switched to blue circa 2011-2012 if memory serves. Earlier GMT IIs were green as well.

is that I read that the explorer mkI 24270 came in green and those that are blue are very rare

Not sure on the 39mm. I'd expect green ones to be more rare but I could be very wrong.
