Ha - sorry

That lovely Seamaster (non spectre) posted above can be found rather easily. for instance (just got the notification, so really an example and not a recommendation) $4K gets you this:

Hope this makes it up for my earlier mistake (a bit)

Can't wait to get my SBDC051, Seiko's reinterpretation of the iconic 62MAS. Due for delivery tomorrow!

Yep.....and it was my choice and one of the main reasons I went down the WIS rabbit hole when it was released. Amazing watch that I love to this day as I don't see too many divers with a GMT bezel (that's more useful to me). Love this feature and look.

(not my watch, thanks to ABTW for the pic)
Then again you can also get a "real" MkII racing, too! Anyway... I can keep going on for a while, handing over to others now :)

Yes, that MKII is a nice-looking homage watch, but it's an absolute brick. So, so heavy and thick. I owned one for a couple of weeks but had to flip it before my left arm fell off.

This is my favorite homage watch. A fabulous re-do. If you're into mid-'60s dive watches, you gotta love Seiko, and this limited-edition SLA017 homage watch is so well done.

I own a couple of old Speedmasters (a Pre-moon and a Moon ) but don't have great Speedmaster knowledge and had completely missed the 'LE' , early issue or later issue. What a great looking watch !. Reminds me of the Heuer Autavia 'Orange Boy'. I rather fancy owning an 'LE' one day. Very cool. humbsup:
