Royal oak bracelet fit
Hey gang,
I have a 6.5inch wrist. With my new jumbo i took two links out. Its a great fit, a tad loose (see pic). It goes about an inch back of my wrist bone. Im debating on the 1.5 link. Anyone else have a similar wrist size? Please share your bracelet size! ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats on the jumbo! If you want a proper assessment on fit it would be great if you first of all could try to get your wrist in focus and then also a more profile angled picture were we can se how much free space you have under the clasp when the watch is facing up (hope it makes sense).

Nice piece! 1 inch back from the wristbone doesn't sound too big, so more pics would be good (as requested above). Especially if you ever go to hot weather or fly on a plane, the size may be ok.
But I'm about the same size wrist as you and I use the 1.5 link on my 15202. It made all the difference for me. Without it the watch was either too loose or too tight. Also, to get the clasp in the right place for me I had to send my watch to the AP service center to have them remove one of the permanent (unscrewable) links on the 6 o'clock side. Now it fits like a glove. |

I assume you removed one link from each side? What does your wrist measure where it fits?

I’ve got the 15400 with 6.75” flat wrists. 1.5 was and remains the only way to go for me, I couldn’t ever size it correctly using the supplied links.

I have a small wrist just under 6.5 inches. I have three APs two on a bracelet-- the openworked in steel and the Royal Oak Chrono (italy limited edition). For the later, I needed a 1.5 link but the former I did not. Slightly different size and thickness but made a big difference in terms of the need for the 1.5 link

I think the Jumbo shouldn’t be too snug. I have similar wrist size and bought the 1-1/2 link but eventually removed it. I found that if my wrist swells just a bit in summer, it gets uncomfortable, more so that my other watches on bracelets.
