I'm not sure how I feel about the grey/blue version. It makes an already sporty watch even more so. But since you have an Explorer, it might be a nice contrast in your collection. My Electric Blue is very sporty, so I'd be looking for a more versatile daily driver in a black SMPc300m.

Real quick photoshop job of the combo I want(ed). Now that I'm finally seeing this combo I think I like the black/black better on the bracelet. The Steel bracelet is too close in color to the grey dial I think. What do y'all think?

Wait for the new Seamaster. Much nicer than the recent model it replaced, which was too busy in my opinion. The new one, even with wave dial looks cleaner to me and not so cluttered.

New question everyone. My work situation is changing (for the better) in the next week and I need a new Non-Rolex watch as a daily. Do I keep waiting for this new Seamaster, or buy a Tutor Black Bay? I’d really hate to not wear a nice watch until August or whenever stores get these new Seamasters in. I’m going to check out an Omega boutique this weekend and ask about the new model release and also check out some Speedmaster. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I would wait for the new Seamaster if that is your preferred watch. I like it.

Waiting for a few months is no big deal for a watch you will wear for many years.

Keep waiting unless you like the BB more. If that's the case then get the BB.

Have patience and wait for the SMP that you really want. In the grand scheme of things, a couple of months is not a long time to wait. You'll thank yourself for your patience in a few months when you have a brand new wave dial Seamaster on your wrist.

So I went to an AD that has Omega and Tudor, and I must say the Black Bay is awesome. The AD said that new Seamasters will actually be in later this month. Im going to wait a few weeks and compare. I tried on a current SMP too, which isn’t nearly as nice as a Black Bay IMHO. So unless this new model really impresses, I’m probably going Black Bay.

Love the look of the new model. Wasn't a fan of SMP until this new iteration, but I still need to see it in the metal first before I pull the trigger.
