(To be clear, I’m not calling anything fake. I’m just saying that if you blow things up enough on a computer screen, one is bound to see something one doesn’t like, but without it necessarily being a “design flaw”.)
The oyster bracelet on e.g. 116610 and 116710 sits as slow as the jubilee you mention. So that "sitting lower" is de facto a normal design standard by Rolex.

But for the new 126710BLRO - it just looks plain ugly. I love the jubilee bracelet, but they failed this time with the transition between the jubilee links and the watch case. They should have followed their normal design cue. That should be easily accomplished - if they wanted.

I can tell this is really irritating for you, but it’s not enough to stop me from buying one. I hesitate to label it “plain ugly” since the raised area will not even be apparent to most people when it’s on the wrist. Blowing it up in large pictures makes it appear worse than it is, but, to be clear I do agree Rolex could have done a better job ensuring the profile was more pleasing aesthetically. Are you buying one in spite of that, or is it off your radar until they fix it?

I'm not a huge fan of either but if I had to chose it'd be the SS Pepsi.

I happen to love this design so obviously disagree with your opinion.
Fully agree. I love the new design. Sometimes we are a tough bunch to please.

Have no idea what happened in the design dept. this time.

I think this is an attempt at deception. He is trying to deflate the pepsi in hopes that people who are easily influenced will lose interest in the new watch. If successful, it makes the new watch more easily obtained for those who see it for what it really is: the coolest watch out there.

I think it is a oversite with the new gmt (bracelet and lugs / watch case) but not as much as the original DSSD bracelet that they finally fixed. I would bet Rolex may fit the bracelet better down the road on the gmt. I agree that when you see issues like this at this level of watch, its hard to unsee it.

It should have followed the proper design / lug curvature as the previous jubilee / super jubilee obviously managed to do.

Strapcode would have made a better job here.

Hmmmmmmm i would never have noticed that lol

Thanks for pointing it out....

See for yourself and decide.
My vote goes to Hulk.
The GMT that I want are 126715CHNR or 116719BLRO

I seriously doubt that was the motivation behind this thread.

If it was, then good try I guess.

Hulk is an awesome watch, but if I had to use it every day I would get sick of the green very fast, even after a few days I needed a break from the green. Not a good only watch imo.

Will see what I think of the BLRO when I get mine.
