Been thinking about buying the Rolex 16570 (black dial) for almost a year now. Own a 16613 Submariner but recently got in a bit of bother over the watch due to it being so loud, luckily I’m fine and still have the watch. Really looking to tone it down a bit and I love the Explorer 2. Owners of the watch include Prince Harry and Jason Statham, although theirs might be the 42mm model. I’m looking to pay around the late £2k mark without papers, the early £3k mark with. In your opinion is this a realistic price I could buy in at. I want to keep the watch but I’m not sure if I’ll lose money if I ever have to sell. I understand a watch isn’t just an investment but in your opinion will I take a hit in the future? Thanks in advance. P.S I spoke to a watch dealer I know and he said he doesn’t buy Explorer 2s, are they not sought after?
