Lange 1 - white gold blue dial or pink gold silver dial
Wondering which you all would go for? In my view they are both versatile and can be worn casually. The blue dial seems pretty sporty and maybe attract less attention, but I am worried that over time it will just look like any old beat up steel watch. The rose gold just looks classic in my view and always “high end” even if it does get a lot of wear time. Thx!

Seems like you prefer the rose gold. I prefer the wg with blue dial. It's beautiful piece and will stay low key.
I think there is one up in the classifieds. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

Wg blue but only if you have another more traditional dress watch. Only one dressy, I like the silver dial

I think the Lange 1 is quite dressy so I like the classic gold and silver/white combo.

I'm really not a gold person but I think with this watch the rose gold is the way to go. Looks much more iconic and dressy

Having seen and worn both for an extended period of time, I would definitely fall in line with most here and go for the rose gold even though I don't agree that the white gold will look like "any old beat up steel watch" over time.

I personally like my gold watches to be gold in color. I'd rather go steel or platinum if wanting a silver metal. To me, the Lange One is a somewhat dressy watch so yellow or pink gold with a silver dial works well, although it does have a more casual vibe than most of Lange's watches, so the white gold and blue dial could work if you're going for that. I would also recommend going for the moonphase version, as I find the standard version a bit austere and sterile.

For this the rose gold works best I think. It’s a beautiful watch. Tried on this version last year.

For me, a Lange 1 must be yellow gold.
For the options given I'd go with the WG if I wanted an everyday watch. But I do like you think the RG is a better looking, classier even, watch and so if it's not an everyday watch then that's my choice. |

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but they are very different in their aesthetics.
When I was looking at an 1815 chrono I was torn between the white and pink gold. I'm very fair skinned and the white gold was a better tonal match but I wanted something that had a more special feel to it (ie, gold coloured) so I opted for the pink gold. It is more dressy and I feel less versatile, however, that's all in my head. In reality I can wear it with anything and it looks wonderful. My advice, follow your heart. Look at both side by and side and pick the one you are more drawn too. |

Hi! I just bought the blue dial version, so I am somewhat biased. I feel it is a bit more casual and I intend to use it as a everyday wearer in rotation with other watches, so it fits right in for me. However, you can't go wrong with either. Let your gut feelings decide
