Nice Tudor Jason.

Excellent pix guys. I would love to buy one but the ROE is killing me.

Padi,

When did Tudor cease having 'Rolex Tudor' on the dial?
I have an old Tudor (circa '48?) and I have always thought the dial was wrong because it had "Rolex Tudor' on it.
Is this dial wrong?

Hi,
This is where Rolex UK recommend when they won't service watches anymore http://www.watchrestoration.co.uk/
I've not used them yet, but I guess they must be good, I don't suppose Rolex would dare recommend a below par watchmaker.
Hope this helps.

Great watches Guys!
Funny when I started collecting watches Tudor were not well regarded at all.
Now look what's happened.
This is the longest standing watch in my collection.
I absolutely love it

hey eddie,as far as I am aware there where only two models that came with the dual writing, and yours isnt one of them, they both looked very similar to paddys..and where marketed in Canada and Australia..
nice looking either way..

I agree. The blue snowflake is such a unique and distinct example of the Sub family. One of these days one will be sitting proudly on my wrist.....................one of these days.

Vintage Tudors are terrific. Your Sub is wonderful. >>

Your son will definitely be a lucky man when he gets that watch! Then he'll need a hot babe on his arm to accompany the watch. :D
