Yes Patek lowered prices in the US by ~7% a few years back.
Everyone who thinks this is the new normal is not paying attention. End of story. For me 5711 white > 5712 > 5726 white > 5711 blue >>>5990 Everyone has their own nautilus preference though.

Nobody outside Patek knows what is the exact production number for each Nautilus model. The waiting list at each AD may also differs based on regional customers' preference. Hence, the waiting time is just a guess based on personal and friends' experience; and conversations with local AD: ~
Longest waiting time at AD is 5711 blue, follow by 5711 white (sold in smaller quantity than blue but has a shorter list), 5712, 5990, 5711R, 5726-1/A, 5980AR, 5980R, 5724 and 5719 (shortest wait). It's impossible to even make an estimate of the 5740 yet because very little is known at this point of the numbers and waitlist. Generally all Nautilus are difficult to get at the AD without a relationship or prior purchase history. Once again, above guess is just my personal take. |

As far as demand/waiting list goes:
5711(blue then white)>5712>5990>5726bracelet>5711rg>5980 As far as my personal preference goes: 5712>5711w>5711b>5990>5711rg Of course the 5740 is not considered in the above assessment |

Funny how 5711 White is climbing on peoples lists. It’s my favorite by a good bit. So grateful to my AD that sold it to me a year ago walking in off the street. They had a buyer cancel and I just walked in on the right day. 5711 White in person and over time is a sight to behold.

5712>5711>5990>5726 but the last two are way behind the first two IMO

Early indications are that the 5740 will be in the top 3/4 most awaited.

So I have a 5711, 5990, 5980/1r and recently sold my 5726. I'm thinking of getting a 5712 :/.
My list as I prefer the watches 5711>5990>5980/1r I love my 5980/1r and if you look on chrono 24 they seem to have hit the 100k mark on the grey market. But I don't wear it much as it is really a awesome sight and attracts a lot of attention. Around family and friends I wear it all the time. If I wasn't as concerned wearing it, I bet it would be my favorite. |

For me it would be:
5711 blue> 5711 white> 5712> 5726> 5990 If the RO is in the mix: 15400 blue (biased ) > 5711 white > 5712 blue > 5711 blue > 5726 > 5990 |

In big cities there is no shortage of demand or money and I'm hearing wait lists are going to get longer than the cheaper models, esp as supply will be limited.

Not only Patek lowered its prices, many other luxuries watches dropped their prices at that time, I think IWC dropped around 12%- I cant remember the exact %, but I remember it was quite a big drop-.
