114300 vs. 126300
New to the Rolex world after much experience with IWC, Panerai, etc. Trying to decide between these two watches and outside of the obvious differences in cost, size, inclusion of date function, is there something more specific I should be thinking about between the two? Appreciate any insight!

The main difference is exactly what you highlighted. Pick the one that you like the best and go with it!!! One other minor difference is the clasp on the two. The DJ has an upgraded bracelet clasp.

Another big difference is the 126300 has polished center links. If this is going to be a daily wearer then for me personally I would stay away from PCL's.

The Datejust has Easylink in its clasp, so if you have a history of needing to quickly and easily let out a bit of length in a bracelet then this could be significant.
There is considerably more satin finishing on the OP's case and bracelet. A plus, in my opinion. In my opinion, the OP's case is significantly more svelte and shapely than the DJ's. In my opinion, the bezel on the OP has better proportion and profile than the DJ's (I would prefer a fluted bezel on the DJ). The OP uses Caliber 3132, which is equipped with Oysterflex shock protection, but the DJ gets Caliber 3235, which is the next-generation movement with a re-designed escapement and longer power reserve. Either one is an excellent choice! |

Thanks for all the input. Will be one of a few rotating daily watches, so I think I could live with the polished center links of the DJ. Tough choice, so definitely will go try both on one more time before making a decision! Will make sure to post an incoming
