I looked around for one but didn't have any luck. I couldn't even get a price for a 'bezel with insert' in Australia so I will just have to swap my Sub with my LV instead but I would have preferred to buy a spare. Price wise I would expect to pay about 800 US$ for a new original bezel with insert. Can anyone confirm that?

I could mix and match a bit more with my TT Sub. Would JJ like the look of a Black maxi dial with a gold/blue bezel.

Exactly right....bezels are knocked off all the time...

In the UK I understand you can get a bezel without too many issues.. In the US you have to take the watch in, without a bezel, and ask for it to be replaced.

Last I heard, the complete SS bezel was about 300 bucks.......

Roxanne knocked her bezel off last month, but found all the undamaged parts with the exception of the clicker spring.

I recently purchased a genuine black bezel insert no questions asked for $90 USD. The insert is quite easy to change, I'd not go to the extra expense of buying the complete bezel. Jocke's tutorial on bezel insert change in the reference section is excellent and I'd just add use packing tape (to prevent scratches) on the blade of a dull knife as a pry bar.

yeah johns right,if your going to take the bezel off then its just as easy to replace the insert as swap...they simply pop in and pop out..
and I wish I could find bezels here in the u.s. for 300..they cost me around 550 and some change...everybody's got to make their cut..

Hi Larry,

We seem to have a spread of pricing from US$90 for a bezel up to US$550 for a complete set. Lets say Steven wants to get one for me. He pays $550 (and then some change) and puts say a low 20% on it = $660 - then he covers himself for his inward freight costs = $675 + packing and post to me = $710. I pay 10% GST = $781 + clearing costs = $800.00. Then convert to Aus$ = $1200.

Even getting just the bezel insert into Aus would cost about $200 if I could get an original Rolex bezel.
