F Serial Datejust?

Hello Everyone,

I have an F-Serial Datejust which I purchased in early 2005. Do all of the F serial Datejusts have the laser etched coronet on the glass? I can't seem to find mine.

I have concerns because I was recently on a trip and when I got home I noticed that my cyclops was gone. It looked like it had just popped off. So I took it to the jewler I bought it from and they put on a new cyclops.

The thing is that I do not see a coronet. But I am also not 100% positive if I ever saw one. I was thinking that if for sure f serials had the etching that maybe they replaced the entire crystal and not just the cyclops.

Below are some pics of my watch. I couldn't get any closer with my camera.

Let me know what you guys think. Do you see any problems?

Crystal crown

I have a midsize datejust f-serial number. It took me a year and a half to see mine, look up to the six o'clock at an angle with a loupe , kinda close to a lamp shining from 12 o'clock. They are veyy small. I beleive its there , you will find it.

I purchased it from a rolex dealer in Chicago. A place on Jewlers row that deals with used rolex. But bought this one new.

Assuming the watch is legit, it's there. You have to look closely and from an angle using a good loop. It took me a while to find mine but once I did, it's pretty easy to locate them.
