All time classic, as good as an investment as any Rolex could be!!
Is it a good investment though? It’s not as mainstream and people generally gravitate to the submariner. Not many people will pay the extra for a watch that from a distance looks very similar. However, it’s about the details and that’s where this watch is amazing. It’s like comparing a Bmw 4 series to a Bmw m4 - they look similar but the m4 is better I’m every way.

Considering the fact you later had great love for the watch makes it more perfect cause i think you were given a good advice, nice dial and bezel to go. What really matters about watches in real fact is the comfort you get when its on your wrist and this fits great too.... congrats.

Considering I got one for $7500 and look at what they go for now, I’d consider that a good ROI.

But make no mistake, I’m not one that looks at watches as investments. I’ve lost money on plenty, this particular reference has just had a nice upside.

I’ve worn mine pretty much 24/7 for the last two years. It’s a great daily wear and it keeps getting better with time.

Changed mine to rubber, the day before yesterday and liking it quite a bit. Pretty nice for the beach like that.
