It would be tedious but you could go into the Rolex.com website and look at the store locator link to count them all.

I know I could but I guess I’m asking if anyone has already done it?

naaah, we're waiting on the guy that needs this info the most to go ahead and do it. I kinda like don't need to know how many ADs there are worldwide so I'm just here for entertainment.

With supply as it is, you’d think there must be one AD for each stainless steel Rolex watch made.

Using the Rolex website locator, I counted here in Brazil, 24.

In my state, 9.

In my city, 5 from which:

3 ADs
2 Boutiques
1 RSC (I believe the only RSC in the whole Country)

I usually count them once a week and this week it was 12 AD's less then the week before.

It looks like they are laying off AD's at a greater speed now.

Tell ya where I’m going on this;

Goes towards the Rolex SS rarity threads. I’m seeing some numbers occasionally which state ADs will receive approx 35 SS models on average a year (2018 or 2019???)

If that is so, and assuming say 1/3 of all of Rolex numbers are Sports SS, then that puts the number of official outlets at about 10000. (350000/35).

I would have guessed at say 1500 worldwide rather than 10000 which either debunks the 35 SS/store/year ration (230-250 units not 35) or SS sports are going to be cut 50-60000 units total!

Bit of Saturday night arithmetic fun.

Its a good thought providing your assumption of 1/3rd of all Rolex production being steel sports models is accurate.

Only Rolex knows this number of course but my guess would be 1/3rd is a pretty optimistic number. Steel and TT DJ's are I think far and away their bread and butter products so my guess is that would squeeze steel sports numbers down to maybe closer to 20% of their numbers.

Don't forget TT sports have now started selling well again due to the steel sports drought, not to mention they are even moving a decent amount of PM models also.
