Vintage 1603

My hunt for the vintage continues. I found this from a private seller on an online classified. Need help to check authenticity. Thanks

From the pictures it seems OK. The one thing that jumped out was the inside of the caseback. I wonder why it has been polished?

Could be a perfectly good reason if it was damaged but unusual to me. The other reason is if there was a service mark or two (like example below).

Maybe you could get seller to provide photos of the sides of the case between the lugs. But otherwise it appears to be genuine.

Watch all looks genuine/OK

Rotor may have been rubbing on case back at some time?

Looks ok to me too.

Crystal looks like aftermarket but that is minor. Bracelet seems to be original but we’d have to see date code to verify.

Overall quite nice. Crystal is easy to find.

Nice looking bracelet too.

1974 as you can see but I can’t see the serial and don’t have my cross reference chart handy to determine that. But, chances are it’s the correct year
