Hello to every one! After 6 years of “watch seek” I collect a 7 pcs set: SubC green, Deepsea black, blancpain aqualung grande date, Pam 564, Bicolour Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer, bicolour boutique LE Ulysse Nardin executive dual time and star of my set PP 5712.
For these years I was owner of 5 very beautiful watches: Piaget Altipano, Pam 312, Pam 323, Blancpain FF and JAEGER-LECOULTRE - Duomtre Quantime Lunaire. But for now all of them are sold - I found right format of “my” watch - stainless steel “sport” watch on a bracelet. Of course, 5712 - is a king of this type of watch. But after 6 month of every (almost every) day use I have strong opinion - 5712 is only for special events: they are very soft and gentle. It’s ok if you can go and buy new one, but now wait list is about 5 (8?) years. That’s crazy. Grey market could solve this problem, but award level is more then 10 kusd. Next step was to find a replacement for everyday use watch. Submariner is really good idea, like a Daytona C. But I have already Sub C with green dial (one of my favorite) and steel Daytona C wait list is about 2 years. To much. Now I’m owner of very beautiful 15400 with black dial. It wasn’t easy to find it in stock, but in Geneva I found them in AP Boutique. Why 15400? 15202 are very close to 5712 because of similar size and dial color. It’s my first AP, hope I will enjoy it, but I’m very confused for quality of movements. |
