Have you looked closely from different angles ? I can turn my GMT many different ways and make it look crazy wonky. I have to carefully position my viewing angle straight on and then its appears straight, or at least as straight as I can see with the naked eye.
Not saying yours may not be mis-aligned but unless you view it perfectly straight on some mis-alignment may appear. The cyclops has a compound curvature that will distort what you see through it from a different viewing angles. |

I'm certain the OP is not just holding the watch at some weird angle and making it up. If it bug them they should get it repaired, live with it, or move on. There aren't many other choices.

Did you buy a left handed watch or a right handed? Since to actually look at the cyclops straight on when you are wearing it requires that you twist your wrist downwards with your free hand, is it possible that Rolex calculates the twist of your neck, and the tilt of your head when locating the clops?

Update: I just took it in to an RSC (St. James, London) and looked at it under a magnifying glass. I also compared it to DJ's (both online and in person). The date digits on my piece were, in fact, perfectly aligned and symmetrical to the cyclops.
After some serious consideration, taking this and other forum members experiences into account, I have no intention of replacing or repairing my watch. Thank you for all the helpful responses and feedback; even the totally pointless posts were somewhat amusing. |
