Storing your rolexes

I have some of my watches in a safety deposit box and was just wondering how often I should be taking them out to sit in the winder. I been doing it about ever 3 monthes, should I be doing it more often is the question I guess?

I think what your doing now is fine, but I would be wearing them more often instead of leaving them on a winder.

Depends on the watches, the type of oil in them, and the environment...although a safe deposit box is pretty mild..

I agree that there is nothing wrong with what you are doing....

But, I don't think that you have to do that much.. Just rotate the watches every 6 months so that gravity works on them in the opposite direction..

Or, just give them a full wind, put them back in the box, and be on your way....I don't see the point of taking them someplace and putting them on a winder...........

I think you should forget about the winder..and try to change watch every week and you will be fine...make sure make a full wind before change your watch..

Will the parts get less wear and tear if the movement only run intermittently say a few days a year instead of every day?
