Correct screwdriver size for Lady-Datejust 28 Jubilee bracelet

Anyone know whats the best Bergeon scredriver blade size for a Lady-Datejust 28 jubilee bracelet. I want to remove a link for my wife and the AD nearby are useless.

Presumably one of these sizes? Ø0.60, Ø0.80 or Ø1.00mm

Thanks
J

The Ladies DJ uses a 1.4mm screwdriver on the Jubilee bracelet.

Be sure to sharpen the blade correctly and blunt the tip so the blade doesn't bottom out in the slot. Otherwise the blade will try to cam out of the slot and mar the screw head.

On a new blade, blunting the tip should be all that's needed.

Best just to buy the correct hollow ground 1.4mm.

I only know one person I would trust to grind small screwdriver to the correct dimensions.

And I have a full set.

Good to see you were successful Faddy.

That's the catch with watchmaker's screwdrivers. They aren't prepared for use when new and people blame the screwdriver when they mar the head.

Hollow ground tips aren't required but do help. I've not seen anyone sell them in proper dimensions though. Horotec makes hollow tips but they technically arent wide enough for a correct fit. I ordered one and returned it as it was easier to grind my own.

Who makes the set that you own? Is it from Horotec or someone else?
