The Whisky Thread

I just tried Four Roses single barrel this past weekend and I really enjoyed it, found it to be very smooth.

So....we’re forgiven? BTW, there was a full bottle of Woodford thanks to Danny’s generosity!

Part my fault, but I had a few friends(including Returntorolex) who never tasted it and I promised they would. Hope to find some to bring next year! I showed true class in bringing a dram to one in a plastic water bottle!

No shame in that game. I’m getting a flask for next year so I can have some walking around whiskey.

I’m a huge fan of Talisker. Usually drink the distiller’s edition, but tried this one for the first time the other day. I recommend it!

How have I missed this thread?!

For a cheap option the Costco Kirkland brand 12 year is hard to beat.

Otherwise love Green Label and Oban 14.

Just got Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask today, and it is excellent. Need to branch out to try some of the others in this thread.

Cheers.

Introducing people to Japanese whisky makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks Larry for having a great get together!

Even better, it's all about good company to share great drinks with!

Waiting to see if I can acquire a second bottle before I pop this one, it's a one shot deal as it was a limited edition single release. If I do open it I will share my thoughts!!
