Grand Seiko SBGV247

What do you all think of this? I thinks it’s one of the nicest new Grand Seikos to come out in a long time.

I quite like it but I prefer the new SBGV239 that no one seems to be talking about much. Really beautiful Tanaka case styling, and a low-key blue dial.

I love the blue face, a great looking watch. I have the SBGV027 a special edition from a couple of years back, the 9F movement is, as advertised, incredibly accurate. Congratulations on a great watch!

this is probably my favorite 9F piece. Seems like a nice blend of Japanese and western styles. Would prefer no date window, but appreciate the fabric strap and the lume on every hour marker

The rubber strap this watch comes with reminds me of the one that GS use to sell for their divers about 10 years ago.

Killer watch.

I'm a fan, though surprised by the price.

I saw this piece 'in the metal' this past weekend and photos do not do it justice. I think it's stunning. I was especially drawn to the case shape, very different to the GS cases I'm used to seeing.
Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm in the 'thin the herd' mode right now - otherwise, I'd be wearing this piece right now.

Guess I can Google it, but looking to discuss. I think it looks sharp.
