FS: 1965 Rolex GMT ref.1675 w/ Glossy Gilt Dial

This present watch features a glossy lacquer dial with gilt lettering, which is among the most collectible within the 1675 family. Also the watch retains its small tipped 24 hour hand - another indicator that the present watch is a very early variant of reference 1675. Finally, the watch comes with a beautiful and naturally faded fuchsia bezel insert, which is seldom seen and highly desired. This bezel really gives this watch a lot of character and presence on the wrist.

S/N: 1.3 mil - (1965)

Case: Excellent case which has just returned from being polished. Comes with an excellent “Pepsi” bezel insert which has faded to Fuchsia. Inner caseback is stamped: 1675 IV.65. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined.

Dial: Excellent gilt dial with warm creamy markers and matching hands. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV, then falls off quickly. Small GMT arrow hand has been colored to match.

Bracelet: Very good Oyster Rivet with 12 links and 80 end link. Bracelet has light stretch from use.
