I hate to say this but I think there are much better alternatives than Rolex for women.

Good opinion! and i quite agree with you~~

I am a female (who shall not disclose her age) who has been wearing Rolexes for the past 20 years. I currently own a TT DJ with white diamond dial and have a few Rolex ads. Because you are posing this question in a Rolex forum, I think you will find most respondents tend to reply positively about purchasing a Rolex for a female. I love the look of Subs and even tried one on two weeks ago, but felt it overwhelmed my 5' 4 1/2" frame. Believe me, if Rolex were to produce a midsize Sub, I would grab it. I own several TAG Heuers and my next acquisition will be a YM.

I wish more women would were Cellinis. That would be beautiful. Pearlmasters are nice too.

I remember several years ago my wife said that I deserved a Rolex (stereo-type of Special Forces soldiers having one) and when I did buy one I wore it with great Pride. After about 10 years of having mine I was financially able to buy her one and she always said that she could not justify wearing an expensive watch and that she was fine with her Seiko.
I did get her one and due to some financial hardships she decided we sell hers and not mine...we sold both as I would feel too guilty in keeping mine. I bought my 16610 LV and 5 months later I wanted to buy her another Rolex but she gave me that ole it's too expensive (but throughout the time we sold ours she always said she missed her watch), anyway I did buy her a Mid-size SS date (my wife is a mere 5'4" but fits her well) and she's enjoying it again. This time their both Keepers.......

Nancy goes for the understated elegance look, so neither of her Rolex watches are what you'd usually associate the brand name with.

Re her age, I value my life too much to post it but she used to babysit Moses.

I do not like Rolex on women. I especially hate when women wear mens watches, I just don't think they are female enough, that is my 2 cents. I have owned a few Rolex watches, and like them on men. I thought the ladies DJ line was "clunky" on women. I took my wife shopping for watches, tried on many Rolex and was surpised how they did not do anything for her, she has a very thin wrist. She ended up with a Cartier Demoiselle, she just likes a small and thin bracelet.

Then came a watch for my daughters college graduation. Again I tried the Rolex route and she has a wrist the thickness of a twig! So she ended up with a Cartier Ladies Roadster. I will try to post the pics.

Rolex's ladies watches leave a lot to be desired. If I were a woman, or old enough to have a wife, I'd purchase a different brand watch.
