What old watch to buy?
Hello to every body.
I am a new comer to this forum. I hope I am welcomed. I want to buy an old watch which is not so expensive. What brand do you think I should buy? Please help me. |

Welcome to the Forum!
Every one is welcomed to this forum. Members share stories, purchases, experiences, about Rolex, mostly. So the answer to your question may be biased. However, if you explain to us the style watch you like and budget considered for your purchase, you may be surprised at the suggestions this forum can provide. CHEERS! |

Agreed...need a few points of reference...
are you looking for, say, the best Rolex you can get under $3K? What is your price range? Sports watch (e.g. stainless steel bracelet) or dressy watch (e.g. on a leather band)? Does "old" mean used, e.g. 10 years old, or vintage, e.g. 1940s, 1950s, etc. Any special features you want, e.g. a date, chronograph function, etc? Do you care if it runs on a battery, is self-winding mechanical (e.g. automatic watch), or a mechanical watch (you need to wind it)? Is it for daily use, or special occasions? |

I have several vintage Seiko (from 1965-1980), all automatic, all big dia (40-42mm), and all still working perfectly.
