Icon1 Discount - 5 on five Rolex's

I just sold my Company and want to buy a Rolex for 5 of my partners. Can I get a discounted price of 5 watches?

It probably depends on the references you're interested in, but it never hurts to make a bad offer! Especially if you're looking at precious metal pieces. And congrats on selling the company

In the UK, you might struggle even with 5 if they were professional stainless steel models. I think things are different in the USA. Go to a few ADs, make an offer. You don’t lose anything. Good luck. Lovely gesture by the way.

5 day dates and you’ll get a big discount

You may have a chance with DD too

Other models are hard to find esp all at once !

Congrats

Try your local AD and see if they'll work with you. Difficult nowadays given the lack of supply but maybe there are enough precious metal models that'll they'll cut you some slack? There is definitely margin at ADs so a discount is theoretically possible (and used to be more common)

Depends on the reference. If it's not a high demand SS sport model, the short answer is yes depending on the AD.
I'd try a small family owned AD.
An AD I've bought a lot from over the years sold 5 RG YM on Oysterflex to a client for close to 25% off the purchase.

I'd suggest you ask that at your local authorized dealer.

SS you will not get 5 even with a $1000 per piece premium let alone a discount.

The problem now is getting 5 the same or similar.

I’d say if you offered to buy 5 steel Datejusts (different combos) from an independent AD at the same time they’d work with you on price. But I’d say it would be a token gesture or 5% apx

As for 5 steel subs or GMTs or similar? No chance even getting the watches nevermind a discount.

Maybe for this situation consider Omega?

I'd ask for 4 pms or datejusts and see if that's enough to swing you a hot ss piece!

I’d imagine if it’s for 5 partners, they’ll need to be on a similar level.

4 getting DJ and one getting a Blnr might go down like a lead balloon

How would any member on this forum know that, surely its up to you to ask at any Rolex AD they are the only ones that could tell you.

Tell us the 5 models of Rolex's you want to get first.

Getting 5 x Day Dates or PM Skydwellers versus getting 5 x Datejusts or OPs there is going to be a big big difference in your bargaining power and a big big difference in price.

doubtful... even on a DJ assuming you are wanting to get them all the same watch. Most AD's are not going to have 5 of anything in the same configuration so they will have to order them. professional models not a chance.

If you were buying 5 watches that were not popular, and they were in stock, and most likely a mix of different things then sure.
