The 12 side crown guard looks to me bigger/thicker than the 6 side crown guard. I'm saying they look uneven from polishing. But I would go with Bas evaluation on this watch he would know.

For the age it has been polished for sure 100% - no 1990 watch looks like that which has been worn.
Polishing doesnt look to bad though. |
