Bezel Replacement Questions Datejust 41
So I recently got a replacement bezel and wanted to see if there are any instructions on how to DIY replace it.
The bezel pulls off with the crystal and I see a white nylon gasket in there. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement gasket? Which way would I press the crystal out? from the back out or press from cyclops side and in? For reinstall would I press the crystal on the bezel first then press the bezel+crystal to the case? Or press bezel to case first then crystal last? Watch is Datejust 41 Reference 126300. Any info is appreciated! |

The bezels on the newer models are VERY different than the old "pop them off and push them back on" models. I could be wrong, but I believe that gasket it not reusable after being removed. I've replaced dozens of the older style, tried to do a newer one, and simply couldn't get it right.

You do not have the tools needed to do this, this is no DIY job.
Leave it as it is and bring it to RSC. |
