For some reason that cyclops covering the center sub dial looks off I can’t make myself like it.

No, it’s quite precisely centred; I just needed to make sure the date font was clearly visible without shadows falling on it- ha, took 8 or 9 pics before I got it the way I wanted. This is not an exact top down (plan view) shot, had to angle the watch slightly to achieve this.
Maybe that’s what’s giving the cyclops a skewed look?

So when you look down at the watch, the cyclops only covers the date and not the subdial, if that’s the case it changes everything in my eyes I seen a yg version the other day but wasn’t close enough to see the dial.
