Reduce the movement by not wearing the bracelet too loose and reduce the friction by keeping the bracelet clean and you won't have a problem with the apparent "stretch". This applies to both Jubilee and Oyster bracelets, friction doesn't care which. Vote for which looks best on the DJ; Jubilee hands down. Wins the comfort category as well. |

If you already have a dj ii, I would get a jubilee next for some variety. I have a dj ii with oyster and a dj 36 mm with the hidden jubilee. I think with a dj ii, a jubilee bracelet would go well. However, I do not like the non-hidden jubilee dj41 clasp and would not get that jubilee. Maybe if you like the hidden clasp, get a 36mm dj.

Oyster is great, but it's on every sports model and is even available on the DJ.
Jubilee is special

Jubilee, besides looking awesome it hides scratches FAR better than the oyster

I thought about this for a while as well before I bought my DJ41. I was set on getting a fluted bezel so there was just the choice to be made about the bracelet. After deciding and getting the watch in a configuration with a jubilee, I have to say that I think I made the right choice. It is so comfortable and is so classic. I also like this more because it hides scratches better than the PCL does on the oyster bracelet.

Majority will say jubilee and I agree. Oyster looks great but it comes on almost all the other Rolex models while the jubilee is unique to the DJ. Get the jubilee.

A DJ41 with fluted bezel needs the jubilee. It's such a beautiful bracelet! You will have an Oyster on nearly every other Rolex except for the DDs. My personal favorite is the SS rhodium dial on jubilee. Elegant and understated but I think the SS/RG chocolate dial on jubilee looks fantastic and I usually don't like TT watches.
Now the question is: How long will Rolex sell the current DJ41s without releasing the hidden clasp? While the current clasp is much nicer than what the older 5 digit and older DJs had, the hidden clasp just adds that extra something.

Beautiful. The absolute best of the bunch. Many will prefer the blue dial since blue is always popular but this is pure class.

For me, a DJ should have a jubilee and fluted dial.

Jubilee. Very unique for the DJ41 and an upgrade option from the DJ41

Oyster with smooth bezel is less dressy and what I opted for but would have gotten fluted bezel if I would have picked jubilee

I love the blue also, but Rhodium is more versatile when wearing a black suit or even casual wear with black belt and shoes. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I love the Jubilee.. It depends on which ref for me though.. On all DJ I think it’s a must.. On 4 and 5 digits Subs and GMT’s I think I looks awesome and really adds some finesse.. I wouldn’t put it on a 16610LV though since For me the Oister is iconic on that one..
Modern models imop should stay on the factory bracelet.. I jubilee on a HULK for example I would find a little off.. |

I have both for my DJ, and I personally prefer the jubilee. It seems more iconic and suits the DJ better in my opinion.

36mm Datejust with jubilee and whiteface. I especially like the railroad tracks around the face -- very unique.

Jubilee.
I find it more comfortable than the oyster, probably because the links are smaller and it wraps around the wrist better. I often wear my 116710 on a jubilee from my 116234 and find it wears so much better because the oyster increases the lug to lug of the watch itself due to the design of the oyster end link. So, maybe something for you to consider if you have smaller wrists. |
