The 16570 w/b dials !

Ok, there just something about this watch that has been very reclusive to me. I am most of the time a sub guy and Sea Dweller guy but for whatever reasons I have a love hate relationship with this watch!

There just something about the 16570 that captured my heart. Again and again! Has nothing to do with the money because these have until recently been on the rise. Now just costing me more money but That dial is just killer! No, I have never owned a black dial, but even a black dial when I have one in my hands looks amazing! I have bought and sold this reference maybe 20 times and it just keeps me sucked right in.

So I have been after one ☝️ in the past year, and at a local watch meet up, a local friend and watch enthusiasts brought a Older 16570 and the magic happened. Most likely I will sell this one again and the hunt will continue! I will this time try to hold on to this for a longer time. The T>25 dial is the newest acquisition.

Chronicles of a watch guy !

The 16570 white dial is a permanent member of my collection. I just love it!

Congratulations (again and again and...)! My 16570 polar will always be in my collection. I'm trying to resist the urge to add the black dial version.

I too have let that one go at least 4 times.
I too have it back again just recently. Like a bad penny.
Told myself I’m keeping it this time.
It’s my only non-black dial watch. You would think I would learn and just not sell it when I get that itch.

I like the 16570, too, but what does that mean? Reclusive?

Wait until the tritium dial starts changing. One day you look down and notice it is the palest of yellows and then it becomes like watching a child grow. lol You'll never let it go. :)

My X serial has started but is too pale for my iPhone to pick up. The change is most apparent on the minute hand in this pic.

When it grows up it will look like this...
