Which trade is better?
I have 3 watches that I am looking to trade or sell. All of them 1-2 years old. I have a Rolex datejust 126331, and 2 0megas (two tone Mark II and Gold Planet Ocean on ablack alligator strap). I can trade the datejust plus $9,000 for a 116681 or all three watches plus $14,000 for the 116688. Which is the better trade? Thanks for your thoughts.

I like them both - but wondered what would be the better deal financially. I suspect the 116681 I could wear daily and the 116688 would be on occasion. Both are beautiful pieces. Just wondered what others would lean toward. Thanks!

So the decision is to spend 5k more (and lose 2 Omega's) and get a full gold rather than a TT?
I wouldn't even pause for a second on that one. Not for a nano second. 18k all day long, baby. The cool thing about the full gold model is that the bezel and dial really "sport" it up, and I think make it a much more versatile watch than say, a YG DD. That's strictly my opinion, though. And I'm a huge fan of the TT. I think RG/SS combo is one of the best looking TT's out there. But up against the gold model...it's in a different league. |
