Full disclosure; the bracelet on the stella 1802 is dated to 1976 and is a replacement bracelet on that watch. 1976 is close to the end of the 18XX series so the SEL was available at least in the last days of that series.

Here is a non SEL oyster I had from 1969...

Here is my vintage DD with rivet bracelet. Sorry I don’t have better shots of the bracelet. Just pulled these shots from the camera roll. I’ll either take new pics or find some others.
