First love was the 5513 Moore wore as James Bond. That said, I've learned that the first love, is not necessarily the greatest love. That spot is reserved for an Omega. A Speedmaster.

My first love in watches was the Speedmaster. But that was overshadowed once I discovered the Sub. I had a speedy, but sold it to fund the Sub. I will add another Speedy someday.

Late to the party but here’s mine Richard...
My original was a 94/95 5 digit preowned but that’s been long gone ... This one though was my first new from the AD and isn’t going anywhere... |

Not my first, but definitely my all-time favorite. It's been my grail watch since 1984. I was worried that a 40mm watch was too small for me, so my first Rolex was a DSSD. Wore it twice, didn't like it, and traded it (finally!) for a 16710 BLRO.

Nice grab Richard! Congrats!
Mine was a 16710 Coke GMT which I love but don't see myself reacquiring one. If a SS Coke GMT ever comes out I would jump at it though. |

LOL, old thread, but yes, 16613LB was my first and I have had 5 over the years. Apparently I am a slow learner.

Looking for 16610 threads I came across Richards thread that I missed 2 years ago... After selling my 16613 LB years ago I regretted it and put things back in order a 2nd time... |

In the end I prefer the 116613lb and have kept that one for a couple years now. All in all over the 30 years, a Sub LB of some form has spent the most time on the wrist.

No my first was a TT Datejust. It was special at first but soon after l bought a SS DJ on oyster which l liked much better, long gone until l got the itch years later for a 14060m 2 liner which started the real addiction to this day.

My first Richard is also a 16610 (S serial in my case), which bought new in January 1995. Keeper!
