What is the DJ 41 blue dial made from?

Hi all,
Pardon me if this is a stupid question, but I've been trying to figure out what the blue dial in the Datejust 41 is actually made of. No luck searching the internet.

Many thanks!

Just plain old brass like most other watch brands use for dials,on Rolex the hour marker surrounds and hands are gold but weight wise a very tiny amount.

Thanks a lot guys! The texture looks similar to the grey rhodium dial, so I figured it might be rhodium too. Thanks for clearing it up!

Even the so called rhodium dials are just brass covered in paint.

What is the DJ 41 blue dial made from?

But all gold models have 18k dials and platinum models have platinum dials.

Official Rolex info:

Actual reverse on a 116509 Daytona dial, stamped 18k 750:

Does it mean the dial of WG GMT (116719 BLRO) is made of WG but the similar black dial in SS GMT are made of brass?

Thanks in advance.

Oh wow, I had no idea it was made of brass! I always assumed it was a plastic disc or a composite of plastic polymer and some sort of metallic finishing / painting process with a spinning wheel!

Well... the more you know!

Thanks.

Correct and the TT watches like the 16613, 116613,brass painted dials 116610LV dials are a powdered gold coated like a PVD coating aluminium disc, but the Platinum YM dial and bezel is 950 platinum.
