The exact same thing happened to me. Sold the GMT and bought a no-date Sub. Haven’t thought about the GMT since.

False. It's far from the slowest selling SS sports watch, it's just the easiest GMT to find because most people want the candy colored bezels.

Was recently in local Mayors Jewelers .. was asking about availability, wait lists, etc ... They told me they can get me a Black GMT or a Sub ND fairly easily if I want one ... as far as anything else .. they are not even doing wait lists.

If you feel the GMT has a less functions considering your movement, i feel you should go for what you really want after a well reasonable decision best to you.

If the polished center link bothers you then you can have it brushed professionally. That's what I'm thinking of doing with mine because the PCL's are driving me nuts some days.
