Would you buy from the TRF FS section if the desc. says "appears to be original"?
Here's the description:

Excellent dial with cream hands and markers. No bracelet but will include numerous straps. Case back stamped 1680 (see photo) Rotatable time-lapse diver's bezel Acrylic crystal Purchased from Bob's Watches and Authenticated by Kansas City Jeweler - Tivol That's all... |

Could be a good purchase with due diligence. Seller looks motivated, dropping the price 5k from last month. A lot of questions to be answered though.

I think you should know the answer since you’ve been on TRF for 10 years.
As for the seller, he’s fairly new. He has listed this same with twice and dropped the price significantly since the first listing months ago. As for the watch - “Purchased from Bob's Watches and Authenticated by Kansas City Jeweler - Tivol” should speak for itself. I think he is being honest about the bezel because he is relying on prior representations. I wouldn’t sing him for being honest. Buy the seller first, but if you proceed then do so in the knowledge that it may not be 100% original. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
