Icon5 Tudor 9411 - does this look weird to you?

Dear TRF friends,

I’ve been looking into tudor subs for the past few months and I’m in love with them! Been reading up on the variations over the time, there are some great examples out there but they seem few and far between.!

I came across this one here and wanted to get peoples advice:
A) what do people think of the condition?
B) The pictures look as if the watch has a black dial, but blie bezel, has anyone seen this before? My understanding was that it wasn’t possible to have a blue on blue, or black on black.

https://www.xupes.com/watches/produc...el-9411-0.html

Thanks!
M.

Nice "Looking" Watch, but I don't know much of anything about Tudor. Google search that model and compare the watch you are looking at to other images from reputable online sellers. Bob's Watches For Example (Great Zoomable Photos!).

Thanks, guessing there's no experts here on this....i find the black dial and blue bezel a strange combination.

It should be black on black or blue on blue. Both the dial and the bezel look like service parts to me. I also think the bezel insert looks artificially aged.

I’d be more concerned about the fact that someone tried to open the case back without the right tool. He clearly damaged the watch and who knows what he ended up doing on the inside. This wasn’t the work of Rolex, an AAA’s Or a Pro.

Great catch, somebody butchered that case back. I would have to get that watch real cheap before I would consider it.

Hi,

New guy to the forum so I hope I'm not stepping on any toes.

I can't speak to the authenticity but it bothers me that actual watch photos and the glamour shot don't seem to match up. The black dial shown in the "watch only" pictures looks to be significantly darker than the watch shown in the last photo or "glamour" shot.

There is also a scratch on the crystal, between the 4 and 5 o'clock markers, that does not seem to be present in the glamour shot.

Yes. I have seen that before when someone used needle nose pliers, exact same damage.

Have to agree with whats been said.....Im also on the lookout for a snowflake, recently bought a 79090 which was fairly simple, but the snowflake purchase is difficult....too many fakes n frankens out there. There are a couple on UK Ebay atm...one in France and one in Brighton....
