Congratulations on your meteorite Speedmaster.

This is the only version of the Speedmaster I have and I love it.

It will be very hard to find one new. I got lucky and found an AD who bought the stock of another dealer that went under. It was BNIB but sent to Omega for a checkup as it was ~6 years old.

I've heard stories from other guys that sourced pieces from other boutiques new...but the price was marked up.

Thanks for this.

Looking at this thread has reminded me how much I like mine and I would like to try one on a leather strap.

I would be curious to know if you can still get a new one in the UK and how much it would be. I'm sure that when I bought mine new it was noticeably more expensive than other versions.

So I came back to this thread as I had promised way back that I would add pictures ones I got my watch back from service. Well it is late but I figured better late than never..

I had this watch for about 8 months and then sold it to buy the Hulk. Now when I look at the pictures from when I had the watch I really miss it :(

I shouldn't have sold it since now the prices have gone up and on top of all it is hard to come by. Well I hope I will have a chance to correct the mistake and buy it back some day.

For sure it is one of the best, if not the best, speedmaster to have.

Advise to all current owners, don't sell, you will come to regret it, just like I

Nice model indeed, but pricey as you said.
