Another reason I would probably keep this long term. Especially in the US the odds of someone else having it is super slim.

Personally I prefer the ceramic bezel but the aluminum works so well on this and matches the watch personality it's amazing.

Given the pristine condition, would you consider taking periodic pictures to show the evolution of the patina, and sharing them here? That would make for an interesting study.
Thanks. Mine too.

I was actually thinking about taking regular pictures too... and I agree that it will be cool to document the patina process... So yes, stay tuned!

Personally I prefer to get a completely different watch rather than the same watch in a different color scheme. Been thinking about getting this...

Congrats!

I had to go through the same scenario for my Harrods BB. Got the call, sent funds to my cousin in London as you can only purchase it in person. Now it's sitting in his apartment until next time I visit London or a family member travels here.

I think my wait time was about a year so about the same length as the Bucherer wait I guess.

That’s a gorgeous watch and I think that the 3,6,9 markers really make it special.
Congratulations!

Between the wait time to get the call and the wait time to actually see it

If there is one good thing about the shortage is that you get to space out watches that are incoming and that can be a little more exciting than just going in and getting it now

Agreed. I love Arabic numerals but it also cleans up and balances the dial nicely. I do miss the date but do love the look w/o it and the 3, 6, 9 markers make it different looking in general.

Congrats Sir,
Have had mine about three months, starting to get a little color on my case. Your review is spot on I could not agree more with your thoughts.
