2599.80 vs 2225.80

Hi,
I've seen both the 2599.80 and 2225.80 on the used market, and was wondering what the differences were?
As far as I can tell the blue on the dial and bezel are a little darker on the 2599, and the dial markings are a little different, any other differences?
I know that the 2599 was discontinued, anyone know its years of production?

Thanks,

Paul

The 2225.80 has "Seamaster" in red. Not sure what other differences. I can tell you the 2225.80 is a great, great watch.
