My first Rolex

So after doing a bit of searching I’ve decided that I’m not willing to purchase a SS Daytona at the current 60%+ mark up and settled on a 116523 TT Daytona with the black face (hope I’ve made the right decision)

Just looking at thoughts of whether I should upgrade it to the 116515In or the Patek aquanaut in the next couple years.

Congrats on the new Daytona.

The fact that you're looking to "upgrade" it in the next couple of years speaks volumes about your choice. My advice is to always get what you want upfront...it's usually cheaper in the long run.

A watch isn’t something you upgrade.

But I hope you enjoy your purchase!

I'd have to agree with watchwatcher's comment.

Nonetheless, congrats!

I was fortunate and secured a SS Daytona from an AD but like TT as well. I would love to see ceramic bezels applied to the TTs and PM Daytona’s on bracelets. Enjoy your new watch.

Thanks guys,

Being the first watch, I didn’t want to throw 50k into it, the TT Daytona is brand new and is coming from Hong Kong so am waiting for it to arrive next week! Very excited as the gold is growing on me day by day.

I’m still tossing whether I should keep the watch or not in order to get the next, would be good if I could.
