Retro DJ or fake?

Came across this image in a Facebook group I'm in, and I can't figure out which reference this DJ is. The case is so oddly shaped, and I've never seen this style bracelet before. The crown looks small, the bezel fluting is shallow and round looking, and there's a certain dullness to the watch that, if not caused by lighting, makes it look almost...fake? What do you think?

It's a 17013 Oyster Quartz.

Seriously, I LOVE the look of the OysterQuartz...minus the quartz part.

The coolest part of a mechanical watch is that it's mechanical. You guys know that...

But every time I see these, I get the droolz.

Maybe I could get over the fact that they're quartz. I really like the solid gold ones. Maybe one of those could turn one over to the quartz-side.

Rejoice, that's a 1630 which is a mechanical watch. They aren't that hard to find and are thankfully, fairly priced.

It's really hard to tell anything definitive about that watch given one, very, poor photograph.

My guess is that it's real based on the wear on the bezel and what I can tell about the coronet on the dial, but even saying that is a stretch.

The bracelet seems to be in good shape.

My AD has a preowned OQ in the case now. If it was all SS I couldn’t have resisted. Just came back from Rolex service too.

They're a hybrid, not regular quartz. No mainspring or escapement, but you get an eleven-jewel drive train in there.

Now to the important question; is that a Margarita?
