Superlative indeed!

Last 3 days my new Sub is +0.2 sec per day. By far my most accurate watch. Measured with an app called Twixt

My Bluesy has been +0 for the two months I’ve had it. Both daily and I checked it after not setting since Dec 1 and it’s still perfect to the atomic clock is synced it too. Amazing.

Mechanical watches given the right set of circumstances can indeed be exceptionally accurate ! Quite fabulous really given what it takes to achieve this.

Man, that app has gone in the same direction as SS Rolexes. Was $4.99 when it first came out, now $16.99.

Never understood this... The day I start caring about seconds in a day, will be when the white coats come and get me.

After about a month of ownership I was appalled to see my Daytona approximately 30 seconds off (fast). I'll need to trade it in on something more accurate.

Wow! Think I paid £3 for it years ago.

To others, yeah it wouldn’t bother me if it wasn’t this accurate, just part of the fascination of mechanical watches. We are all watch geeks or we wouldn’t be here!

I think the word we're looking for here is precision.

The most precise watch in the world can be inaccurate if set improperly and the most imprecise watch can be accurate if set properly and even a broken watch can be accurate for a single moment twice a day.

My watch tells time allegedly, but it looks amazing.

It's not about "caring about seconds in a day", it's about taking an interest in the performance of your watch's movement -- something that generations of watchmakers over hundreds of years have been trying to perfect. This being a watch forum, there's quite a few folks inclined to be interested that way, though probably fewer and fewer these days

My new SD43 on average loses 0.4 seconds a day, measured with WatchTracker app over 7 days. By far the most accurate mechanical watch I have ever owned.
